As a Southern California native, Yvonne was born and raised in South Bay. She earned an B.S.B.A. Degree (Bachelor of Science in Business Administration) with a concentration in marketing from California State University Long Beach.
Extraordinary Entrepreneurial Business Background:
Success came to her early as an enterprising teenager still in high school, she founded and built a sportswear design & manufacturing firm with an international sales force and 4-store retail operation into an INC. 500 Company - one of America's fastest growing private companies. She was also honored to receive the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Young Entrepreneur of The Year Award, along with ranking 51st of the 100 Largest Women-Owned Businesses in Los Angeles and LA County by the Los Angeles Business Journal.
Exceptional Real Estate Experience & Expertise:
Her above-mentioned education, business acumen, accomplishments and acquired skill sets enabled her to quickly become a top producing real estate agent. She joined REMAX on the island of Kauai in 2004, becoming the #1 REMAX Agent in the State of Hawaii in 2006 (through 2022) for most sold real estate transactions.
Concurrently, she was named a Top 100 Realtor in the State of Hawaii during those same 13 years, (out of over 10,000 agents) by Hawaii Business Magazine. The Hawaii Black Book listed her in the personal and professional journeys of Hawaii’s top business executives, which featured honorees from every major recognition program of Hawaii Business Magazine. Yvonne lived down under during 2012, having accepted the position of Director of Business Development with REMAX Western Australia in Perth; developing new REMAX franchise office locations and making many international networking connections for real estate referrals worldwide. During her time abroad, she continued to work with my U.S. mainland and Hawaii clients, selling her property listings and even winning a REMAX sales production award. Shortly after returning to the U.S., Yvonne purchased her own franchise, opening REMAX Kauai Living in Kalaheo in 2014 as broker/owner. The following year, she purchased a 2nd franchised office, REMAX Kauai Living Poipu, located within the Kiahuna Plantation Resort on Kauai's south shore. For 5 consecutive years, from 2016 to 2020, she earned the Diamond Club Award, REMAX's (then) highest production award. After selling both her brokerages to REMAX Honolulu in 2022, she began helping clients along the Emerald Coast of Northwest Florida as a dual state licensed real estate broker.
In Hawaii, Yvonne formed a 2-person sales team at REMAX Honolulu – Kauai in 2023. They ranked the #1 REMAX Team in the State of Hawaii for their first and second year (2023 & 2024). (See YvonneSummerfieldHawaii.com).
As of 2025, Yvonne is currently a broker associate with REMAX Coastal Properties based in Destin. Twenty-one years of real estate sales and over 800 sold properties later, she enjoys and feels blessed to be able to help each of her real estate clients make large, life-changing, wealth-building moves in both these beautiful markets.
