Education:
As a Southern California native, Yvonne was born and raised in South Bay. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Degree (BSBA) with a marketing concentration from California State University Long Beach. Continuing education has always been important to me. I enjoy learning & sharpening my skill sets, so each year I try to increase my knowledge & expertise by earning advanced industry designations & certifications - and adding value to my clients as well.
Extraordinary Entrepreneurial Business Background:
Yvonne achieved business success at a young age. As an enterprising teenager still in high school, she founded a sportswear design & manufacturing firm, building an international sales force and 4-store retail operation into an INC. 500 Company - one of America's fastest growing private companies. She was honored to receive the Young Entrepreneur of The Year Award from the SBA, and was 51st of the 100 Largest Women-Owned Businesses in Los Angeles and LA County ranked by revenue in the Los Angeles Business Journal.
Exceptional Real Estate Experience & Expertise:
With her above-mentioned education, business acumen and acquired skill sets she joined REMAX on the island of Kauai in 2004 and began selling businesses, commercial buildings, land and luxury properties to HNW and UHNW individuals quickly becoming the #1 REMAX Agent in the State of Hawaii in 2006 (through 2022) for most sold real estate transactions.
Concurrently, she was named a Top 100 Realtor in the State of Hawaii during each of those same 13 years, (out of over 10,000 agents) by Hawaii Business Magazine. The Hawaii Black Book listed her in the personal and professional journeys of Hawaii’s top business executives, which featured honorees from every major recognition program of Hawaii Business Magazine. After having accepted the position of Director of Business Development with REMAX Western Australia in Perth, Yvonne developed new REMAX franchise office locations down under making many international networking connections for real estate referrals worldwide. During her time living abroad, she continued to work with her U.S. mainland and Hawaii clients, selling her own property listings - even winning a REMAX sales production award. (Difference in times zones were a challenge. Perth is 18 hours ahead of Honolulu Hawaii Standard Time).
Yvonne purchased her own franchise after returning to the U.S., opening REMAX Kauai Living in Kalaheo in 2014 as broker/owner. The following year, she purchased a 2nd franchised office, REMAX Kauai Living Poipu, located within the Kiahuna Plantation Resort on Kauai's south shore. For 5 consecutive years, from 2016 to 2020, she earned the Diamond Club Award, REMAX's (then) highest production award and the Pinnacle Club Award in 2021. In 2022, Yvonne sold both her brokerages to REMAX Honolulu and relocated to the Emerald Coast of Northwest Florida. In 2025, she was included in the Peak 2025 as one of fifty agents nationwide for having the #1 highest priced sale in Hawaii for her global brand.
As founder, business intermediary and broker owner of Summerfield Advisors based in Gulf Breeze, Yvonne brings a wealth of experience to helping business owners who want to exit their company and leverage their legacies.
